In the year 2021, as schools prepared to resume full operations following an extended closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ABE Club took proactive measures to support the safety and well-being of students and teachers in Kasigau. One significant initiative involved supplying masks to numerous schools in the region.
The efforts to provide masks were further amplified by the remarkable contribution made by a group of students who recognized the importance of this endeavor. Their generous contribution resulted in the donation of over 400 masks to Zungulukani Primary School. Witnessing such a compassionate act from young individuals truly warmed our hearts and served as a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility we all share in protecting one another.
Ensuring the safety of learners and educators within our educational institutions has become paramount in these challenging times. As we look ahead, we remain committed to engaging with schools in the region and providing masks to every student as resources allow.
