We hope that the rains which the weather man predicted to be ending in the last week of Dec, will extend for our farmers to harvest some food. We are convinced the DH02 seed is the best for our short rains. The peanuts in some of our famers field school is doing well. We need to look for best solutions for our climate here in Kasigau. Short rains and high temperature during the day for this season. Yes we encouraged our farmers not to loose hope, will get it right soon. Thanks to the extension officer in Kasigau for the cooperation. Food security is what we need for us to achieve other goals. We had to resolve to giving some relief food as farmers wait for Thier expected "harvest" we are already worried of the rains...there will be hunger if no harvests are realised this season. ... It's no longer a dream, now the people of Bungule and their neighbours can get medical services within. Thanks to Steve Isaacs the donor, ACK St. Philips Bungule for support including land, the elders who were instrumental and members of Bungule community for the support. Will also like to be very thankful to our Able senator of Taita Taveta county Hon Jones Mwaruma and the county health team. Its with great pleasure for us to witness today's opening of service delivery. Count on Abeclub for future support on the facility and we challenge the county government to take over the facility for sustainability. Currently ABECLUB has supported this facility on top of medical equipments and medical drugs with one Clinical officer, one grounds man and a Watchman. Going forward for sustainability we need a better plan. Happy for the community and always being part of solutions of community needs and problems. ... See MoreSee Less

Right seeds for the short rains, right farming practices and right planting time. We today gave seeds to our farmers as they prepare for the season. Food security is key for development. Abeclub together with the county agriculture Extension officer will be monitoring the seeds beneficiaries who will be putting into practice conservation agriculture. We stopped giving fish and now showing fishing methods. ... See MoreSee Less
